Ken Fey volunteered at the Arizona Poison and Drug Information Center at The University of Arizona long before he became an employee. During his education at the UA College of Pharmacy, he served for three years as an intern at the poison center.

Following the completion of his doctor of pharmacy degree in 2003, Dr. Fey moved back to his hometown of Baltimore and worked as an inpatient pharmacist at Union Memorial Hospital. In 2005 he returned to Tucson to court and marry his wife, Carrie, and work as a pharmacist for Carondelet St. Mary's Hospital and Tucson Medical Center.

In March 2008, he returned to the poison center as a Certified Specialist in Poison Information, a dream job for him.

Dr. Fey loves running (including marathons), golfing and spending time with his wife and three big lovable dogs.
