Dr. Tipirneni completed his Internal Medicine residency in Illinois and is Board Certified in the same specialty. He elected to spend an additional year of training to focus on the study and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. His medical training primarily focused on the treatment of adult patients in various clinical settings including the intensive care unit, on the inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as in the emergency room where he currently spends most of his time caring for the ill. He has been involved early on in teaching medical students and residents alike, as well as has an active interest in medical presentations for the medical audience. He is also published in a reputable medical journal and was selected to present at a national meeting based on his research in gastrointestinal diseases.

Since 2006 he has been practicing medicine in Southern Arizona within a nationally recognized medical facility, which has very strong ties with a multitude of medical, surgical, and psychiatric training programs. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at a medical university in Arizona.

One of the roles he enjoys the most is as a regular health writer/contributor for a number of Southern Arizona publications as well as educating students at a local elementary, junior high, and high school by writing health articles for their school newsletter and presenting health topics to the students and their parents.

As medicine is a continually evolving science, both Dr. Rastogi and Dr. Tipirneni are continually learning new modalities of therapy to improve the quality of life and health for their patients. This not only includes treatments in modern (allopathic) medicine but also in complementary and alternative medicine.
